Purpose
The purpose of this club is so that San Diegans can have a place to come and find others that live in the same area, and to show off our beautiful city and people. Also, to inform you of other groups and outings happening. Perhaps in the future we can plan our own meets and outings

Rules

1. We are all San Diegans here, whether in fact or at heart. To join you must be a San Diego resident, past resident or fan of this beautiful city.
2. Don't forget to devwatch us (both our main gallery and scraps, as they will be used equally) and put our club icon in your journal or our devname in your signature so we can recruit more members, please!!! For instructions on how to do this, see FAQ #81: How can I make links to other deviants, deviations, or websites?

Join

To join just send the club a note asking to join and with which part of San Diego you live in currently, where you used to live, or if you're just a fan of the city and you'll be added.

Submitting Work

To have work submitted just send the club a note with the link to the work in it and it'll be posted. Please put in the deviation's description that the club has permission to post it.

Submissions to the main gallery must be of or dealing with San Diego. They can be famous landmarks, or expressions of San Diego (sunny beaches, palm trees, etc.). While the admin are photographers, submissions can be of any form of art but should feature San Diego.

We also use what dA refers to as the "scraps" gallery, but entries there will be anything but scrap. This gallery will be to showcase San Diego artists. As with the main gallery, any artform can be submitted, but submissions there need not be of or about San Diego. The only requirement is that you be a San Diego resident to post, as the purpose of this gallery is to promote San Diego's own. We mean no offense by this, we just want to showcase our own city's artwork.

As such, when you note us with your submissions, please let us know if they are of or about San Diego or if they are from a San Diegan artist, just so we're sure on that fact and post them to the correct gallery.

Please try to keep the volume of submissions down to at most 5 per week. This will give us a chance to be sure to get to your entries, as well as give our members a better chance to view them. But don't forget to resubmit more the following week! We greatly appreciate all of your entries!

And lastly, a little declaimer - when submitting work to dA, the SDDeviants admin will use the same categories for your work as you do and we do not claim any responsibilty for posting into the wrong category. We also will not be held liable for any missing model releases. Bah - enough legal stuff.
